Frequently Asked Questions
What services do you offer?
Any time a structural element changes, certified engineering is required. We handle the entire process—delivering blueprints, architectural renderings, electrical and plumbing designs, and permit approvals for new construction and remodels. Beyond design, we help you select the right contractor at a competitive price and perform final inspections to guarantee the work is built strictly to plan. Our expertise includes integrated electrical and plumbing (MEP) designs. Additionally, we offer contractor selection support to ensure you get the best price, and final site inspections to verify that the completed work accurately meets the engineered plans.
How do I get started?
Email us all the information you already have such as location, a land survey, preexisting drawings. We will contact you to clarify your vision within two business days.
Then you will receive a contract, sign it, and return it. Then you will pay 50% of the amount owed so work can commence.
Note that it is custom work and if any additional information is needed or the city has more comments to address, the deadlines in the contract will be adjusted . So plan for a time buffer, especially if the project is complex.
What makes you different?
Every construction or remodel project begins with engineered plans that must be approved by the local building department. By partnering directly with Seals Design from the start, you maintain complete control over your project rather than being limited by a single contractor’s capabilities or preferred methods. Having fully sealed plans upfront gives you the exact "recipe" for your build, allowing you to solicit competitive bids and select the best price. Furthermore, independent engineering inspections ensure high-quality execution and protect your financial investment throughout construction.
